Drummer, MacArthur Genius, and composer Tyshawn Sorey has had a busy summer. For the past few months, he's been on tour in Europe, and on July 8, he released his latest album, Mesmerism, recorded with his trio. The self-released album includes interpretations of standards of the American Songbook and also lesser known compositions. Sorey joins us for a Listening Party.
