Father and Son Jazz Legends George Coleman Sr. and Jr.

Over the course of his six-decade career, George Coleman Sr. has earned a reputation as one of jazz’s most eloquent tenor saxophonists. Coleman’s latest album, “A Master Speaks,” is his first album as a bandleader in nearly 20 years, and his first recording since 2002. It’s also the first record he’s ever made with his son, renowned jazz drummer George Coleman Jr.

Event: George Coleman Sr. and Jr. will be performing at the Jazz Standard (116 East 27th Street) on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 12th - 13th. Show times: Beginning at 7:30 p.m. & 9:30 p.m. nightly. Tickets to the event are $25.00.
