TRussia Daily: What We Might Learn When Comey Testifies About His Meetings With President Trump

Adam Goldman, a New York Times reporter covering the FBI and national security, reports on the latest news on the various investigations into the Trump campaign's connections to Russia. Goldman speculates on what we might learn when former FBI Director Jim Comey testifies before Congress on Thursday -- he points out he's a "meticulous" guy, and certainly documented his meetings with the president in a detail-oriented way. He also points out that if Mueller, the special investigator, finds evidence of obstruction by the president, he'd have to refer it to Congress for a political solution.
And lastly, we ponder a great listener question, which boils down to this: If Trump *did* do something illegal in his meetings with Comey, i.e. obstruction of justice or something like that, Comey would have had to report it...right? So...does that mean nothing illegal happened? Â
