Larry Fuller Takes Center Stage

New Standards | Nov 2, 2014

This week, we are featuring the latest self-titled release from jazz pianist, Larry Fuller. Best known for his work with the late Ray Brown, Fuller has also worked with great names in jazz such as John Pizzarelli and Clark Terry.

For this record, Fuller leads his own trio and according to Stephen Holden of The New York Times, "Larry Fuller...merits special attention...you could swear he was channeling the musical spirit of one of Billie Holiday’s greatest accompanists, Teddy Wilson." Tune in all week long to hear selections from this latest release.
