Kronos Quartet at Caramoor
Tickets: $25-55. Show at 8PM.
The Kronos Quartet has spent more than four decades exploding our idea of what a string quartet should look or sound like. They’ve collaborated with modern composers, DJs, jazz musicians, and artists from traditions around the world. Tonight at the Caramoor Festival, up in Katonah, NY, Kronos plays music by Laurie Anderson, Rhiannon Giddens, Aleksandra Vrebalov, Steve Reich, George Gershwin, Terry Riley, and more.
