The Knocks (Ben “B-Roc” Ruttner and James “JPatt” Patterson) are a NY-based production duo who’ve worked with well-known musicians like Carly Rae Jepsen, Wyclef Jean, Flo Rida, Ellie Goulding, and the band Foster The People. But they’ve also worked with musicians from beyond the American pop scene, and in this song, the vocals are by the Nigerian singer Kah-Lo. The song is called “Awa Ni,” which means “that’s us,” and its playful energy has now been captured in a new video by the Knocks.  The new video for this song, “Awa Ni,” is part of our Weekly Music Roundup.
