Khruangbin ft. Leon Bridges – "B Side" (Weekly Music Roundup)

Singer Leon Bridges has a classic soul sound. The trio called Khruangbin – which is the Thai word for airplane – draws on the psychedelic rock of Southeast Asia 50 years ago. So they seemed like strange bedfellows when they first worked together, on a record called Texas Sun. But that turned out pretty well, so now they’ve announced a followup record called Texas Moon. And yes, they’re all from Texas. Leon Bridges and Khruangbin have just released the lead single – what we used to call the A side, although they’ve playfully titled it “B Side.” That song and its Texas ghost town video are part of our Weekly Music Roundup.
