Join Us For NYPR's Holiday Blood Drive

WNYC Digital | Dec 1, 2025

To mark the spirit of the holiday season, we wanted to help other New Yorkers give back. So, New York Public Radio is hosting a blood drive with the New York Blood Center.

Medical professionals are facing a troubling shortage of transfusion-ready blood. In a world and time where it's not always clear how to help, donating blood is safe, easy and critically important.

Join us and your fellow caring New Yorkers on Tuesday, December 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in The Greene Space, our performance space at the street level of WNYC's offices in lower Manhattan. Enter at 44 Charlton Street, near the Varick St. intersection.

Go to nybc.org/wnyc to sign up for a slot, and pass this along to friends and family in the area. Before signing up, please check your eligibility, and afterward, please review the preparation resources from the New York Blood Center.
