Johnny Marr, from The Smiths, to Modest Mouse & His Solo Career

Musician, singer and songwriter Johnny Marr joins us to talk about his memoir, Set the Boy Free. The legendary guitarist and co-founder of The Smiths details his life in music, from his childhood growing up in a working-class Manchester neighborhood, to co-founding The Smiths with Morrissey in 1982, to leaving the group in 1987, to his long and varied solo career and collaboration with artists such as The Talking Heads, The Cribs and Modest Mouse.
