Larry Cohler-Esses, the assistant managing editor for news at The Forward, recently returned from a reporting trip to Iran, the first since 1979 by a journalist from a pro-Israel, Jewish publication. After interviewing both high-level government officials and regular people, he sheds light on Iranians' attitudes toward Israel, the West and the nuclear deal.
