The Jazz Passengers at The Atlantic
June 22. 7PM. $20, 2 drink minimum

The group The Jazz Passengers were formed here in New York 35 years ago by sax player Roy Nathanson and trombonist Curtis Fowlkes, and though the word jazz is right there in their name, the band has always thought more broadly about music, incorporating elements of soul, R&B, poetry, and rock, with regular guests like Elvis Costello and Debbie Harry of Blondie. The Jazz Passengers have been dispersed during the pandemic, but they’re reuniting for a live show on June 22 at The Atlantic, in Brooklyn.
