If There Was a Vogue Magazine For Pigeons, It Would Be This Book

All Of It with Alison Stewart | Aug 22, 2024

One day over a decade ago, photographer Andrew Garn looked at a pigeon -- really LOOKED at one -- and was stunned. The iridescent feathers. The fan-like sweep of their wings. Their luminous eyes. He realized he would never look at them the same way again and began photographing them. Then he started volunteering for a bird rescue organization and really got to know them. He joins us to discuss his new book, The New York Pigeon: Behind The Feathers.
