Now, she's sharing lessons she learned throughout her three-decade career working with directors such as Spike Lee and Ava DuVernay. She joins us to talk about her new book, The Art of Ruth E. Carter: Costuming Black History and the Afrofuture, from Do the Right Thing to Black Panther.
