How Trump Tried To Rescue Texas and Abandoned Puerto Rico

Danny Vinik, assistant editor of “The Agenda” at Politico, discusses his recent investigation, “How Trump favored Texas over Puerto Rico.” Through a review of public documents, newly obtained FEMA records and interviews with more than 50 people involved with disaster response, Vinik found that the Trump administration — and the president himself — responded far more aggressively to Texas after Hurricane Harvey than to Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria.
