Good Things: Teen Gardeners at Untermyer Park and Gardens

WNYC News | Jul 26, 2023

Lots of teenagers get summer jobs as camp counselors or scooping ice cream, but WNYC’s Amy Pearl caught up with a group of teens who has spent the summer tending the ornamental vegetable garden at historic Untermyer Park and Gardens in Yonkers.

Untermyer Park and Gardens is open daily at 9am. And is a short walk from the Greystone metro north station. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
