Gillian Welch & David Rawlings On The Joys Of Going Vinyl

Singer/songwriter and musician Gillian Welch joins us along with her musical partner, guitarist David Rawlings, to discuss their new albums: “The Harrow and the Harvest” and “Poor David’s Almanack.” Welch and Rawlings have recorded 7 albums together, and were honored with the Americana Lifetime Achievement Award for Songwriting in 2015 and the Berklee American Masters Award in 2016.
Welch’s 2011 Grammy-nominated album “The Harrow and the Harvest” was recently released on vinyl via her own Acony Records, and David Rawlings' new solo album “Poor David’s Almanac” comes out Aug. 11.
