Meng Su started playing the guitar at the age of five—and unlike most of us, she hasn’t stopped since. Almost literally—the Chinese guitarist has grown up on world stages, usually winning youth guitar competitions. She first played Carnegie Hall in 2010 with her critically-lauded Beijing Guitar Duo, they even received a nomination for a Latin Grammy for their debut record. Tonight though, she’s in classical mode. Meng Su performs for the New York City Classical Guitar Society, tonight at Symphony Space.
