Chris Tomson is best known as the drummer for the popular indie rock band Vampire Weekend. But he is also a singer and guitarist, and recently put out a solo album under the name Dams of the West. Produced with Patrick Carney of the Black Keys, the album features some improbably cheery music, like this track called "Death Wish." Dams of the West are playing tonight at Baby's All Right in Brooklyn.
