The trio known as Black Sea Hotel is three women from Brooklyn who sing old-world harmonies, a capella. The group calls it “Balkan vocal pyrotechnics.” Audiences call it mesmerizing. For an example, here’s “Mori Dobro Vecher” from their 2013 record, The Forest Is Shaking And Swaying.
