Jeffrey Eugenides On 'Fresh Complaint'

Pulitzer Prize-winning author Jeffrey Eugenides joins us to discuss Fresh Complaint, his latest collection of short fiction. This collection features characters dealing with personal crises, ranging from a failed poet who becomes an embezzler to a clavichordist whose artistic goals are weighed down by family life. 

Jeffrey Eugenides will appear in conversation with Ruth Franklin on Oct. 2 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's College  (245 Clinton Ave., Brooklyn). The event is organized by Greenlight Bookstore.

He will also appear in conversation with Emma Cline on Oct. 4 at WORD Bookstore (123 Newark Ave., Jersey City, NJ) at 7:30 p.m.
