New Changes Are Coming to Your News Feed
Kurt Wagner, senior editor, social media, for Recode, explains the changes Facebook is making to its news feed plus how these changes will affect what users see, why the company is doing this and whether the fake news stories that popped up during the 2016 election have anything to do with this. You can also read his story about why these changes are unique on Recode.
As a NJ business owner, I have seen the drastic changes in reach to customers using our Facebook page. Unless you advertise you don't get your content shown to your followers.

I joined Facebook to connect with people, not organizations or publishers. But my feed is dominated by businesses and current algorithms bury friends' posts. So, yes to increasing my social interactions and not the constant ads. @BrianLehrer

I like the idea of seeing posts from friends and family first, but I want Facebook to leave my feed alone. Don't prioritize anyone, let ME control what I see. In my case, friends and family political views are not going to be all that diverse. We are a progressive brood.
