All Of It with Alison Stewart | Feb 2, 2023

An exhibition at The Met investigates industrial slavery in the American South and the artistic work of African American potters. The show features approximately 50 ceramic objects from Old Edgefield District, South Carolina, a center of stoneware production in the decades before the Civil War. Curators Adrienne Spinozzi, Ethan Lasser and Jason Young join us to discuss the show, Hear Me Now: The Black Potters of Old Edgefield, South Carolina which is on display through Sunday, Feb. 5.
