Brazil has produced many great musicians and composers, perhaps the most famous of whom was Antonio Carlos Jobim. He wrote "Girl From Ipanema", and a host of other tunes you’d probably recognize. Three musicians from Brazil are paying tribute to Jobim this week – singer Maucha Adnet, drummer Duduka da Fonseca, and pianist Helio Alves are all sought-after performers of this music, not just Jobim but other well known composers like Dori Caymmi. They’ll celebrate the music of Antonio Carlos Jobim Thurs.-Sun., March 28-31, at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola.
