DJ Logic was born and raised in the Bronx, growing up on hip hop and becoming fascinated by the idea of using the turntable as a musical instrument. Over past 30 years, Logic has developed a whole array of techniques for scratching and spinning discs – it’s amazing to hear, and almost defies belief to watch. DJ Logic has been particularly active in the so-called acid jazz scene, and his music draws easily and organically from jazz, hip hop and soul. DJ Logic leads his band in two shows every night from Jan. 6 - 9 at The Blue Note.
