Dani Shapiro's First Novel in 15 Years

Author Dani Shapiro started work on her book, Signal Fires, years ago, and then stopped, putting the manuscript away. Decades later, she returned to that original story and finished it, publishing her first fiction writing in fifteen years. Signal Fires tells the story of a group of teenagers whose lives change forever after a drunk driving accident. Shapiro joins us to discuss.
