Cole Porter, You're The Top
Tuesday afternoon, we took a tour through the songbook of Cole Porter.
As a talented lyricist and composer, Porter was a rarity. He conquered both Broadway and Hollywood with his witty lyrics and beautiful melodies. A career that spanned over 30 years, his songs are the foundation of The Great American Songbook and can regularly be heard on The Jonathan Channel. Songs like; "Night and Day", "I Get A Kick Out of You" and "Love For Sale" are ever-present and will dominate the airwaves during our 4-hour Cole Porter Marathon.
