Christone “Kingfish” Ingram at Webster Hall (Rescheduled from Sept. 8)
Wed., Nov. 3. $40.59+ up. 8PM.

The blues are over a century old now, but if you thought the blues’ time had passed, then you need to know about Christone Ingram, known to one and all as “Kingfish.” The Clarksdale, Mississippi native recorded his first album when he was still a teenager; now at the ripe old age of 22 he’s come out with a follow-up record, full of deep acoustic delta blues, rockin’ electric blues, and everything in between. And while his guitar playing and singing are the focus, spare a thought for the barrelhouse blues piano in this song, “Something In The Dirt.” Christone "Kingfish" Ingram plays Wed., Nov. 3 at Webster Hall.
