A lineup of house and techno DJs are getting together on Saturday, Aug. 22 to present a 24-hour marathon to benefit the city of Beirut; they’re hoping to raise a quarter million dollars for relief efforts after the massive explosion earlier this month in the Lebanese capital. Some of those DJs have worked in Beirut’s once thriving club scene, and each of the 24 will do an hour-long set. The star record producer and DJ Carl Cox is one of them; here he is recorded at the Saatchi Gallery in London last year:
