C2C Festival: Nala Sinephro at Knockdown Center

Nala Sinephro is a Caribbean-Belgian musician and producer whose music includes the harp, electronics, field recordings and more. She’s based in London these days, and has worked with many of the leading players on that city’s jazz scene, but her own music is harder to pin down, stylistically. Which makes her a good fit for the first-ever New York edition of Italy’s C2C Festival, alongside noted experimental music and soundtrack producer Oneohtrix Point Never, the electronic artist Jlin, and others. Nala Sinephro is part of the C2C Festival, taking place on two stages on May 9 at the Knockdown Center in Queens.
