2021 marks 10 years since the inaugural Blue Note Jazz Festival and 40 years since the club’s founding. Alex Kurland, director of programming at Blue Note, joins us to discuss Blue Note’s history, its recent reopening for in-person concerts, and this year’s festival, which runs through August 15.
