Writer/director Keith Miller talks about his new film, “Five Star,” along with actors James "Primo" Grant and John Diaz. Set in East New York, the film explores Primo's life, blending documentary and fictional storytelling. A member of the notorious Bloods since he was 12 years old, Primo takes John, the son of his slain mentor, under his wing, raising him the way he was raised. Opens July 24 at the IFC Center, and on VOD August 4.
