The Canadian group called BadBadNotGood – all one word – has made its reputation by collaborating with a huge range of other musicians.  Though the group began as a kind of instrumental jazz ensemble, they’re all fans of hip hop, and their high profile collaborators include Kendrick Lamar and Tyler, the Creator. But they’ve also been interested in more experimental things, and have worked with the ambient music pioneer Laraaji, electronic music producer Floating Points, and on this song, the former Arcade Fire sax player and composer Colin Stetson. BadBadNotGood and their song “Confessions Pt II.”  The two-time Grammy winners are playing on May 1 at the Knockdown Center in Queens.
