The U.S. military is “locked and loaded should North Korea act unwisely,” President Donald Trump tweeted this past Friday.

That was the third time last week that the president suggested that the U.S. was ready to take action on North Korea, though it doesn’t necessarily indicate any change in tactics, yet.

Christine Wormuth, the Pentagon’s former top policy official as the Undersecretary of Defense for Policy between 2014-2016, and now the director of the Resilience Center at the Atlantic Council, discusses the latest escalation with North Korea.
