Ask Governor Murphy: Why New Jersey is expanding access to birth control

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy says making birth control pills and other contraceptives available without a prescription is the right thing to do. 

"Especially for those who do not have ready access to the primary care needed to get a prescription," Murphy said during a bill-signing ceremony last month. "And that is a big chunk, sadly, it's a big chunk of our population."
