globalFEST at the Copacabana, Jan. 6, 2019
Tickets: $65 and up. Secure a ticket via IndieGoGo

GlobalFEST, the long-running showcase celebrating new artists, old perspectives, and expansive cultural traditions, shares the same joy of discovery and open ears that drives what we do here at New Sounds. With that overlap of mission in mind, New Sounds is super-excited to announce 2019’s globalFEST, which will be held at the historic Copacabana in Times Square on Jan. 6, 2019. The Latin, jazz, and pop hub boasts three stages under one roof where musical travelers will come from Cuba, Palestine, Mexico, and South Africa. Twelve artists will be performing at the 16th annual globalFEST for this night of discovery of and connection to the world’s musical traditions. -Caryn Havlik
