Comedian Wyatt Cenac and musician Donwill began their "Shouting at the Screen" series about a decade ago. At each event, the duo screen a Blaxploitation film or cult favorite and provide commentary as it plays. Their next screening is July 28, with shows to follow in October and January 2023. We're a little over halfway through the summer, so we wanted to take a 'tour' of this year's summer blockbuster movies like "Thor: Love and Thunder," "Top Gun: Maverick," "Jurassic World Dominion," and more. Plus, listeners call in with their reviews.

Viewers have left the theaters after seeing Jordan Peele's latest film, "Nope," starring Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer, with their jaws dropped. It's been described as genre-blending and a spectacle summer blockbuster that lives up to the hype. A.O Scott, chief film critic for The New York Times, recently reviewed the film, and he joins to share his thoughts on "Nope" and Peele's reputation as a director in Hollywood today.

After rekindling their love for one another, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied the knot recently. We discuss the possibility of getting back with an ex.
