Albany Budget Deadline Looms
The Brian Lehrer Show | Mar 29, 2018
First, Fordham University law professor Zephyr Teachout, followed by Politico Albany bureau chief Jimmy Vielkind, discuss what's in and what's out of the New York State budget as the final week of negotiations winds down.
@BrianLehrer I am no fan of Cuomo, but isn't there someone in NY with more political experience than Cynthia Nixon? Waste of an opportunity to push Cuomo.

.@BrianLehrer I really REALLY hope .@CynthiaNixon beats .@NYGovCuomo but .... Cuomo is a centrist. A neoliberal. A right-leaning Clinton Democrat. Nixon supported Clinton > Sanders. Now Nixon is sprouting Sanders populism. Please explain and square this circle. #BrianLehrer

Cuomo ignores housing and transportation; two things that are huge factors in social mobility. Essentially, Cuomo skips over difficult decisions for easy wins.
