Alarm Will Sound Plays Tania León and others at Carnegie Hall

Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Tania León was invited by Carnegie Hall to curate a series of concerts, and the March 26 event features the excellent new music chamber orchestra known as Alarm Will Sound. The group’s concert will be presented in a multimedia, podcast-style format, featuring the world premiere of a sci-fi opera by Damon Davis, a bunch of New York premieres, and a diverse group of composers reflecting on their experiences working in America today. The concert will also include Tania León’s rollicking piece, “Gran Torque.” Alarm Will Sound plays on Tues., March 26 at Carnegie Hall.
