Abbi Jacobson joins us to talk about her new book, I Might Regret This: Essays, Drawings, Vulnerabilities, and Other Stuff, which charts her journey on a solitary road trip. In this collection of anecdotes, observations and reflections, readers will feel like they're in the passenger seat on her journey. On October 30, Jacobson with be in conversation with Phoebe Robinson  as part of The Town Hall in Partnership with Strand Books.

 

Adam Serwer, a staff writer at The Atlantic covering politics, joins us (at 20:50) for a discussion on nationalism and how it's on the rise both in the US and internationally.

 

Ilana Glazer talks about her project, "The Generator Series," (at 39:55) a movement inspiring people to humanize policy through storytelling. On October 30 and November 1, Glazer will be in conversation with with Susan Bysiewicz, Ari Berman, and Ana Maria Archila at Murmrr Theatre.
