A Cabaret Moment - Adelaide Hall

Born in Brooklyn, Adelaide Hall (1901-1993) was a major figure in the Harlem Renaissance of the 1920's performing with Louis Armstrong, Fats Waller and Duke Ellington with whom she recorded "Creole Love Call." She eventually settled in Britain where she continued performing and recording into her 90's. In 2003, she entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's most enduring recording artist having released material over eight consecutive decades.
