WNYC News | Jul 12, 2010

AT&T will provide the city's local, long distance, and networking telephone services.

The company says the deal will allow AT&T to secure up to 100 million dollars in business from city agencies. The deal is potentially one of the largest AT&T has received since the old AT&T corporation merged with SBC Communications.
