The Department of Education has placed a Bronx charter school on probation to address problems of teacher turnover.
The International Leadership Charter School, a high school on Exterior St. in Kingsbridge, is under investigation by its trustees after complaints that resulted in a student walkout last week. Since the school opened in September, all 8 of its original teachers have resigned or been fired. The principal, Elaine Ruiz Lopez, was removed from management duties last week.
