Storm Clean up Continues in Brooklyn

Emergency management officials say the clean up in Brooklyn after the tornado touch down. is well underway this morning. The Housing Preservation and Development agency is helping residents in Sunset Park who suffered serious damage to their homes.

They are laying tarp-like material over the roofs that were torn or blown away by severe winds and falling trees. Crews from the parks and sanitation and transportation departments are still clearing away trees and debris from the streets.

Con Edison is working to restore power to those who lost electricity in the storm.
