Juvenile Arrested in Newark Shooting Waives Extradition

WNYC News | Jul 12, 2010

One of the juveniles arrested in the execution-style slayings of three friends in Newark has waived extradition.

16-year old Alexander Alfaro will be returned to New Jersey early next week. He was arrested early Saturday in Virginia, less than an hour after authorities arrested his half brother in Maryland. Rodolfo Godinez is fighting extradition.

The pair and four others are accused of gunning down the three friends and wounding a fourth in a school yard.
