REPORTER: Munir Mashooqullah owns an import company. He says American companies may pull out and have to find factories elsewhere, but this would come at a cost.

MASHOOQULLAH: Products like denim and fleece are very strong in Pakistan, so naturally if we're not going to buy from there because of travel restrictions or law and order situations, then again we'll have to move to countries which are more expensive. Which means, of course, lost of profits.

REPORTER: Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf imposed a state of emergency last weekend and has since detained hundreds of lawyers - his most visible opponents.
