New York Reconsiders its Approach to Juvenile Offenders

For years the state legislature has taken a get-tough approach in matters of juvenile justice. As a result, New York is now one of only two states in the country that treats offenders over 16 as adults. But now it appears that attitudes might be changing. WNYC's Bob Hennelly talks to Weekend Edition Host Brian Zumhagen about the problems of incarcerating teens in adult correctional facilities.
