Obama Club Backs Tasini Over Rangel

The Barack Obama Democratic Club of Northern Manahttan voted to endorse Jonathan Tasini in the race for the seat currently held by Rep. Charlie Rangel, according to reliable gadfly Alan Flacks.

The club also voted--narrowly--to endorse challenger Ariel Ferreira in his [corrected] bid against one of the longest serving members of the legislature, Assemblyman Herman Denny Farrell, first elected to that chamber in 1974.
