Everyone old enough to remember can tell you where they were on July 20, 1969, when Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin stepped onto the moon. Craig Nelson gives an account of that first moon landing. Rocket Men: The Epic Story of the First Men on the Moon is the story of the most remarkable adventure of the twentieth century, and a look at the politics, technology, and incredible risk it involved. We're also joined by Ewen Whitaker, retired University of Arizona researcher who conducted the photo analysis that helped determine the landing site for the Apollo 11 and 12 missions. He also was among the first to develop maps of the moon, prior to the Apollo program, and he was a member of the team that communicated with the lunar orbiters during the Apollo 11 mission.
