Barbara Attie and Janet Goldwater, directors of "Mrs. Goundo’s Daughter," tell the story of a Malian mother’s fight for asylum in the United States to protect her two-year-old from female genital cutting. "Mrs. Goundo’s Daughter" is playing as part of the 20th International Human Rights Watch Film Festival, at the Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center.
