There’s music from southern Africa by Zambian-Scottish artist Namvula, The Malawi Mouse Boys, Rwanda’s The Good Ones, and the Kasai Allstars from Kinshasa. Plus, music from Omar Sosa’s An East African Journey.

Listen to music by London-based song-sculptress Namvula, who blends the folk and urban traditions of her Zambian homeland with London’s eclectic music scene. Then, there’s music from Kasai Allstars from Kinshasa, who feature likembe (thumb piano) amplified through car parts and old speakers. Also, listen to a traditional Luvale hunter's song by Mokoomba from northern Zimbabwe.

From the Malawi Mouse Boys, hear a solo song by the trio’s leader, Nelson, who plays a 4-stringed sheet metal guitar that he made himself.
